Anyway – It’s late here. But before I go. I want to share with you all this link. It’s called www.omegle.com

It works just like chat, except you go straight through to a private chat with a stranger, instead of a lobby.

I’m still undecided about if I like it or not. You can have some pretty interesting conversations. But you also come across some saddo’s who are in it for a sex chat.  I’ve spent the past 25 minutes on it. And this are the people I’ve spoken to:

• A gay History schoolteacher from the UK
• Someone who was convinced he and his brothers were part of the headless horsemen in the Bible (don’t quite understand)
• A half Russian, half German, who doesn’t like living in Russia. But won’t say why
• Countless people wanting a sex chat

I think I’ll try it for a couple more times before I give up on it. I like the idea in theory. There have been times when I’ve been in a coffee shop, and had conversations with strangers, and they’ve been really interesting! Omegle seems to fall short, and here’s the key reason:

THERE’S NO SAFETY BUTTON!

Call me a sissy, or a health and safety freak. But seriously, what the hell would you do if someone threatened suicide when you were chatting to them? (answers in a comment please!)

Anyway, the real reason is that I had such a mental block in Egypt. Fortunately I took very good mental notes, so I can report in the very near future. I also took some reasonable pictures. It was quite difficult though. I wanted to capture people going about their daily business, but I got the feeling that if I tried to take a picture from close up, they would just want to smile. And sometimes, that’s not what I’m looking for. 

That’s an interesting thing though. In National Geograpic last month (there was a thing on Ancient Egypt which I thought my dad would like) there was a photo-article on modern-day slavery. I won’t go into the details of the article. But the pictures were incredible. There was one in particular, where the photographer was clearly very close up, but the photo didn’t look posed. Here’s my question.

1. Did the photographer ask their permission to be photographed?
2. Was the photo posed?

Am I stupid for asking these questions? I hope not. But if anyone knows the answers, I’d love it if you could let me know. Because I want to take some pictures like that!

Okay, maybe she has a point. And maybe I am a little feminine! But that’s fine. I’m a boxer, I make up for all my masculinity at the gym. At least I try to.

I do like weddings. They’re great fun. Maybe I’m saying that because I’ve never organised one. I’ve been to two weddings in my life so far, both have been amazing! The most recent I was a Bridesmaid Assistant, although I prefere to say I was a Bridesman. 

No matter what people say to me about being feminie, I still think it’s fine to care about weddings. I mean come on. Don’t you guys out there think about having a big fancy wedding? Hmm, I think I may regret writing that!

Anyway, for those of you who haven’t checked out the film. Do it! It’s very funny. Especially Franck (Martin Short). 

In other news, tomrrow I’m fleeing the appalling weather, and headin to warmer climes. It’s only for a week though. But I’m hoping that week will last me until summer. I have a 5.00 start tomorrow morning, because I need to get a flight to Egypt. After a 6 hour flight. I’ll have a 4 hour taxi journey to Alexandria. Should be good!

In my stupidity, I went  shopping, today. I only had a few shops I wanted to browse (Paul Smith have some fantastic suits). Anyway, I was in the shopping centre for about an hour in total. But I spent a whole hour getting to the place. 

I seem to be pretty cursed when it comes to traffic. I change lanes on the motorway to go from one which is at a standstill to one which is flowing, and they magically switch. I went to the Riverdance a few weeks back (is it really their farewell tour?) I was stuck in the car park trying to get out for a whole hour!

It\’s not only Britain where I get stuck in traffic either. I go to Egypt quite often, and the pictures below are just a snapshot of the traffic I always get stuck in!

Also, does anyone know anyway I can make the blog look any nicer. I\’m still pretty new to this stuff.

I’m not going to lie. I’m pretty sure I could live off Nando’s. I know it has its critics. And yes I can see there point. Glorified fast-food it may be. But it’s damn good glorified fast food!

This is the second time in less than a week that I’ve stepped foot into the doors of  my beloved Nando’s. Each time I go it keeps getting better. I need to feel the peri-peri in my veins otherwise I get withdrawal symtpoms and jitters. 

But hey, let’s face it, when it tastes as good as it does, it’s perfectly understandable. Right?

I also realised that boxing is in my blood. It’s been a week since I last stepped into the ring, and I’m having *severe* withdrawal symptoms. I find myself shadow boxing most days. But the frequency has gone way through the roof. I’m a bit worried in case anyone decides to look through the window.

Oh, Somali pirates have taken over another ship. Except this time the US has re-commandeered it. I swear this is modern day “Pirates of the Caribbean”.
